Tenille Townes is a Canadian singer/songwriter. Tenille Townes, a Canadian singer/songwriter, debuted in the mid-2010s.

Early life

Townes was born in Grande Prairie (Alberta) on January 20, 1994. At the age of 15, she released “Home Now” as a single.

The Beginning

Townes relocated to Nashville where she signed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music. She also won Song of the Year and Female Artist of The Year awards from the Canadian Country Music Association for “Somebody’s Daughter.” She returned to Canada in February 2020 with Lemonade Stand, Jay Joyce’s third full-length album. It included “Somebody’s Daughter” as well as “White Horse”, “The Most Beautiful Things,” and more. The following year saw Townes issue the semi-autobiographical single “Girl who Didn’t Care. “Masquerades” was a seven-song EP which arrived in April 2022. It featured the single “When’s it Gonna Happen”, as well as guest spots from Breland, Wrabel and other songs.
